They\u00a0bear lovely foliage and long lasting flowers that\u00a0come in red, orange, pink, purple, yellow, white and just recently bi-colored varieties.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cyclamen- <\/strong>their lovely mottled, heart-shaped leaves and red, pink, or white flowers will beautify spaces in\u00a0your home or in protected outdoor areas where nightly temperatures\u00a0do\u00a0not drop below 37\u00a0\u00b0F<strong>.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Bromeliads &#8211; <\/strong>one of the easiest house plants to grow. They don&#8217;t ask for much light. Mist the air around them several days per week. Flowers are very showy and young plants (pups) form that become the &#8220;grandchildren&#8221; of\u00a0your plant.<\/li>\n<li><strong><strong>Tillandsias &#8211; <\/strong><\/strong>which are\u00a0bromeliad relatives are\u00a0frequently\u00a0sold as &#8220;Air Plants&#8221; because plants don&#8217;t have roots and are not potbound. All plant(s) ask for is a daily misting or weekly one hour soaking\u00a0in the sink or bucket of water.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sedums<\/strong> &#8211; available in pots or planted in changeable frames\u00a0suitable for wall hanging either for room interiors or outdoors (hardy types).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Paperwhites &#8211;<\/strong>\u00a0 miniature white daffodil blooms are highly fragrant. Simply give plenty them of water, and you&#8217; will be rewarded with 4 weeks of beautiful winter white blooms<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>During the spring-summer seasons feed most plants (not tillandsias) monthly with a weak solution of Miracle -Gro or an equivalent product.
