This diminutive beauty is exceptionally compact with\u00a0joyous light yellow flowers\u00a0 opening in late summer and blooming well into the fall season.\u00a0&#8216;Little Lemon&#8217;\u00a0combines well with other autumnal pleasures\u00a0such as\u00a0asters, kales, and fall anemones\u00a0either in garden beds\u00a0or containers.<\/p>\n<p>Goldenrods prefer moist, well-drained soils in full sun\u00a0or partial shade, and are tolerant of wet sites.\u00a0Plants possess good heat and drought tolerances.\u00a0Fertilizing goldenrod is rarely needed, but\u00a0likely will enhance plant vigor.<\/p>\n<p>Goldenrods do not cause hay fever in the fall. The sticky oily goldenrod pollen is to heavy to be carried in the wind. Cut goldenrod flowers are long-lasting and used in dried arrangements.<\/p>\n<p>Clumps need to be divided every 3-4 years.
