Over the past 10 years, the\u00a0world of roses has\u00a0witnessed a revolution with the popularity of the Knockout\u2122 series of roses in gardens across the U.S.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Over the past 5 years the University of Tennessee has been testing shrub roses in Poplarville, MS and two\u00a0Tennessee locations. Dr. Mark Windham and his research team have been evaluating\u00a0 disease resistance in shrub roses. “The summer heat and humidity in the South\u00a0makes it a\u00a0perfect\u00a0location\u00a0for\u00a0evaluating rose\u00a0disease resistance”, says Dr. Windham.<\/p>\n
